Sponsorship of Honor

A few weeks ago, I had the joy of receiving the final confirmation of a sponsorship of prestigious honor for the Tulay ng Kabataan foundation. It concerns Her Imperial Highness Regina von Habsburg. Having married Otto von Habsburg, the elder son of the last emperor of Austria, Charles (who was beatified by the late Pope John-Paul II in October 2004),
she could thus be empress, and it is in this way that her close friends and faithful saw her. This great woman, discrete, simple, Christian in all her ways, was interested in our work in Manila since the beginning. As she is older, she has hesitated for a long time to give her agreement for a sponsorship of honor, knowing that she can no longer travel and give enough of herself. But what is enough, and which touches us deeply, is her moral authority, reinforced by the spiritual force obtained by the beatification of her father-in-law, the blessed Charles of Austria. Thus, for this reason, our residence home #5 for the boys was put under the patronage of this woman. We wish to express our most sincere and deep thanks to Her Imperial Highness Regina for her kindness, her fidelity in friendship and her prayer for all of our children.
